My Story
I grew up in small town Kansas with my parents and one sibling. My father taught me the value of caring for your own home and the skills to fix anything. In my teenage years, I would help him with all the projects around the house. He was an excellent carpenter by trade, so I spent my time soaking up all the knowledge I could. Encouraging me to work for friends and family in return for a paycheck, he understood the significance of completing quality work for compensation. Since then, I have completed many projects and home repairs for friends, family, and other customers. I have also enjoyed completing a full house remodel on my own home.
When I left home to live on my own, I began my career as a full time Fire Fighter for the City of El Dorado KS. I am passionate about serving my community and I love my profession! I have also started my family in El Dorado and believe I have more to offer the community. That is where the idea of the Longs Handy Man Service took root.
Foundational Values
At Long’s Handyman Services, I operate based on the three foundational values of which I also operate my personal life. These values stem from my Heavenly Father’s Word. I believe that He has given me these values to live by, thus I also apply them to the services I provide.
